inagua
Great Inagua’s resident population includes over 80,000 West Indian flamingos and 924 Bahamians. Little Inagua is inhabited only by donkeys, goats, and rare birds. This pair of islands is known as Inagua and is known by visitors for its ecotours. The only airstrip is on Great Inagua, you would have to go via boat over to it sister island. At the capital, Matthew`s Town, they produce salt, and turn out about 1 million pounds of salt a year. This island also has a marina for boats and a hospital. In the center of the island they have a bird sanctuary that houses over 50,000 different species of birds.
